Watermark Adder

Put your name, website, or logo on your photos before you share them. EaseBowl's Watermark Adder lets you add a text watermark, a logo, or both. Choose a corner, the center, or a repeating diagonal pattern, drag the watermark exactly where you want it, and set the size, opacity, and rotation. Add many photos and the same watermark is applied to all of them, saved as a ZIP. Your images are never uploaded. No signup and no watermark of ours.

Technical Deep-Dive

A watermark tells people who made an image and makes it less attractive to copy. Photographers use them on proofs, artists on portfolio pieces, shops on product photos, and businesses on social media graphics. EaseBowl's Watermark Adder puts them on your images in your browser, so your original files stay on your device. Text watermarks. Type a name, a website, or a copyright notice, using several lines if you like. Choose from five font styles (sans-serif, serif, monospace, bold condensed, and script), then set the color, bold, italic, a soft shadow, and an outline. The shadow and outline keep white or light text readable on bright photos. The fonts come from your device, so the exact look can vary slightly between computers and phones. Logo watermarks. Upload a PNG, JPG, WebP, or SVG file. A PNG or SVG with a transparent background sits cleanly on the photo with no box around it. You can use a text watermark and a logo together on the same image, each with its own size, opacity, rotation, and position. Placement. Single watermarks can go in any of nine positions, at a distance from the edge that you choose, or anywhere else if you drag them on the preview. On a keyboard, click the preview and use the arrow keys to nudge the watermark. Repeat as pattern fills the whole image with a tiled, rotated watermark with adjustable spacing. Patterns are the hardest kind to crop out, and the quick styles Corner, Center, and Diagonal pattern set everything up in one click. Sizes that scale. Size is a percentage of the image width, so a watermark set to 5% looks the same on a 1,000-pixel image and a 6,000-pixel one. That is what makes batch watermarking work: add up to 100 images, set the watermark once, and every image gets a matching result. Output. Keep each image's own format, or save everything as JPG, PNG, or WebP. JPG and WebP have a quality setting, and you can limit the longest side to 4096, 2560, 1920, 1280, or 800 pixels, which is useful for web and social media. One image is downloaded directly. Several images are downloaded as a ZIP. Transparency is kept for PNG and WebP, and photos rotated by their camera are saved upright. What to know. The image is re-saved by your browser, so metadata such as camera details and GPS location is not included in the result. That is handy for privacy, but keep your originals if you need it. Only the first frame of an animated GIF is used. HEIC files open only in browsers that support them, such as Safari. There is one text watermark and one logo per image, and all images in a batch share the same settings. A watermark discourages copying but cannot stop a determined person from editing it out. Privacy. Your images and logo are read and processed by your browser and are not uploaded to EaseBowl's servers. EaseBowl records basic usage statistics, such as how often a tool is used, but not your files or their contents.
